As a scientist and innovator, it’s only natural for me to want to apply the latest and greatest in technology to help boost my campaign to the next level. Our volunteer team has some amazingly talented people including PhDs, engineers, digital marketers, and web developers.
In this video I break down our tech stack – basically all software as a service (SaaS) and no-code tools that I used to build our digital campaign. None of what we did requires any coding and was done completely with no-code tools and more traditional software like PowerPoint. What would normally cost a larger party thousands of dollars in consulting fees, we did on a shoestring budget of less than $100/month, some creativity, and a lot of elbow grease.
I talk about building a website, a mobile web-based canvass app, our digital map and poll prioritization, design, and backend automation.
Links to all the tools I used are below.
Our campaign is funded by grassroots supporters like you who chip in what they can, when they can.
We need your help to make bold change. Work with us to build a better Canada.
Toronto-St. Paul’s is on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
