The University of Toronto Connaught Industry Alliance Symposium on Carbon Capture and Conversion was an event held at the Royal Conservatory of Music on October 11 to October 12, 2016. Phil was a co-chair, organizer, and emcee for this event.
The event was a massive success with over 100 people in attendance from industry, academia, and government. There were executives and VPs from large energy firms such as Total, Saudi Aramco, & Enbridge, chemical companies such as Dupont and Nova Chemicals, cleantech companies such as Hydrogenics and CO2 Solutions, and government and research hub representatives from the Ministry of Ontario, MaRS, Ontario Centers of Excellence, and the Dept. For Foreign Affairs.
This two-day event was jam packed with content from world leaders all discussing their view for a renewable world based around carbon capture and conversion.
