On June 19th, Phil and a team of volunteers took to the streets to do some good in the community! Staying within provincial health guidelines for a 10 person gathering outside, they went to work to pick up litter in Oriole Park and along the Beltline.
Much of the litter they found were small and difficult to see such as cigarette butts, plastics, and shards of glass. These small contaminants break down into microscopic sizes and remain in our environment for years.
This was just one event on the campaign where Phil is hoping to do the job before getting the job!
