Phil was just published as first author in the new Nature family journal, Nature Catalysis. The paper, “Catalyst electro-redeposition controls morphology and oxidation state for selective carbon dioxide reduction“, reports the design and in-situ study of a new catalyst that can convert carbon dioxide into ethylene, the main feedstock for many plastics.

This work was performed by Phil at the University of Toronto, the Canadian Light Source, and University of California – Berkeley.
