Keynote at Science Rendezvous Hackathon 2021

SRHacks 2021 is the first ever youth coding and engineering hackathon held by Science Rendezvous. Students in grades 6-8 within the Greater Toronto Regions (i.e. Toronto, York, Halton, Peel, Durham) will have 3 weeks to tackle real-world problems by creating original designs/innovations which will be presented to professional judges in the industry.

Science Rendezvous is a free annual all-day festival that brings science out of the lab and onto the street with the ultimate goal of improving student enrollment as well as public involvement in the science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) fields.

Phil gave a keynote lecture and talked about his experiences as a young scientist moving into the world of politics.
